A Social DAO is a type of DAO that is not primarily devoted to economic profit for its members, but instead to serving the good of the society its members live in. The value of using a DAO structure to support this goal is to add the transparency that assures accurate estimates of overhead in order to promote maximal efficiency and impact on the cause the DAO serves.
